GIFT AID - enhances your donation
Government legislation means that your donations can be worth MORE - at no additional cost to you. Since the 6th April 2000 charities have been able to reclaim tax that donors have paid on all gifts made after that date. It costs you nothing and it is easy to arrange. Providing you are an income tax payer all you need to do is to give us permission to reclaim the tax that you have already paid on the amount of your donation. You only need to do this once and we can continue to claim the tax on any donations you make in the future until you tell us to stop.
There is no commitment to make further donations and no minimum amount whenever you do wish to donate. There is no obligation for you to participate in this scheme but if you do it means that the Trust can reclaim 22p for every £1 you donate. Following the recent Budget announcement, reducing the tax rate claimable, the Treasury Ministers have announced a transitional rate of Gift Aid, made up of 20% basic rate and a 2% transitional relief, to run for three years from 2008/09. As a result this means if you donate £10 and sign a gift aid declaration we can reclaim an additional £2.20.

VOLUNTEERING
Offering your time enables the charity to save funds on staffing. The Trust requires dedicated and caring people, preferably with some experience, to work with, and help care for, our 100+ horses, ponies and donkeys. The day to day care of our equines can be hard but rewarding work.
Donations enable us to continue our work in providing care and support to our resident equines as well as those out on loan. In addition to the day to day running costs we are constantly faced with the need for building and repair work around the sanctuary as well as transport costs.
Donations via standing order commitment allow us to build a sustainable budget.
to help animals who cannot help themselves.
